I’m not sure how to feel when I see your face
When you’re gone I think of him, when you’re here you take his place.
I’m aware & unaware of the current cliches
I thought you could never care, I thought you were safe
So now I’ll write you a musical rhyme
and place each confusing thought into your mind.

Last night you said something to me that I don’t know what to make of. But I won’t bring it up. Not so much for the fact that I want to spare you awkwardness but mostly because I don’t know how to bring up something like that with someone like you. So let’s act like it never happened.
